Hugo joined Novamedis as Managing Partner in 2013 after over twenty-five years in the medical devices and technology industry with Bausch + Lomb and Storz Ophthalmics. During his tenure at Bausch + Lomb, Hugo directed B+L’s surgical business unit in Latin America. He was a member of the Strategy Advisory Board and served as General Manager of B+L Mexico. Hugo holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Ricardo Palma in Lima, Peru and an MBA from Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Administración (IESA) in Caracas, Venezuela.

Gustavo R. Neumann, Partner

Gustavo joined Novamedis as Managing Partner in 2014 after fifteen years with Bausch + Lomb in various executive roles in the refractive laser technology business unit. During this time with B+L, Gustavo served as Commercial Manager for Technolas Perfect Vision, a B+L subsidiary in Germany, and was instrumental in redesigning Bausch’s global service program for refractive laser technology. Gustavo holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Universidad de Buenos Aires in Buenos Aires, Argentina and completed coursework towards an MBA at Universidad del Salvador in the same city.
